Sponsorships and early-bird pricing

Model hole sponsors, tables, and tiered pricing as ticket types.

6 minute read

There is no separate sponsorship module to learn. A sponsorship is a ticket type with a high price and a small cap, which means it shares the same checkout, the same order list, and the same export as everything else.

A golf outing, modeled

  1. Individual golfer at $165, cap 144.
  2. Foursome at $600, cap 36. Set seats per order to 1 so nobody accidentally buys four foursomes.
  3. Dinner only at $45, no cap.
  4. Hole sponsor at $500, cap 18. Mark it as a sponsor package so it groups separately on the page.
  5. Presenting sponsor at $2,500, cap 1.

Early bird that closes itself

Create two ticket types for the same seat: early bird with a sales end date, and regular with a sales start date that begins the moment early bird ends. Price the early tier 15 to 25 percent below regular. Buyers see one price at a time and the handoff happens on its own.

Keep it to two or three tiers. More than that reads as a pricing maze and does not convert better.

Board comps

Use a promo code with a 100 percent discount and a use limit that matches your board count. Comped orders still generate real tickets with QR codes, so the head count at the door stays accurate.
