The Eventbrite alternative that does not take a cut.
Same tickets, same QR check-in, same embed on your website. The service fee and the processing relationship are the parts that change.
Three differences that matter to a board.
The service fee is gone
Eventbrite's published rate is 3.7% plus $1.79 on every paid ticket. There is no equivalent line here, on any plan. Either the buyer stops paying it or your organization stops absorbing it.
You own the payment relationship
Eventbrite processes the card and pays you out on their schedule. Here the charge runs on your own Cloud 9 Payments merchant account at your negotiated rate, and it settles like every other card sale you take.
The page is yours
Your name and colors, embedded on your own website, with the attendee data exportable whenever you want it. No marketplace branding between your members and the checkout button.
Your event, both ways.
Enter your ticket count and price. The gap is what your organization keeps.

What you give up by switching.
Worth saying plainly, because it decides the answer for some organizations.
Public discovery
Eventbrite is a marketplace with search traffic behind it. If strangers finding your event is how the room fills, that has real value. If you fill the room from your own email list, it does not.
Their marketing tools
Email blasts and ad tooling live inside Eventbrite. Here you export the list and send from the tool your organization already uses.
A processor change, eventually
The free plan assumes you process with Cloud 9 Payments. You can start on the Software only plan and keep your current processor, but the economics work best when the two come together.
Switching questions.
What does Eventbrite actually charge?
Their published organizer pricing is a 3.7% service fee plus $1.79 per paid ticket, plus 2.9% payment processing per order. On a $165 golf ticket that is about $7.90 in service fees before processing.
Can we move an event that is already selling?
Yes. Export your existing attendee list from Eventbrite, build the same ticket types here, and point your links at the new page. Anyone who already bought keeps their original ticket.
Do we lose the Eventbrite marketplace listing?
You do. For member luncheons, CE clinics, and chamber golf outings that listing rarely sells tickets, because you are emailing your own list. If public discovery is how you fill the room, Eventbrite may still be the better fit.
Is checkout as easy for our members?
It is a mobile-first page with the card fields on it. No account creation, no marketplace upsells after payment, and the confirmation email carries the QR ticket and a calendar invite.
