Privacy

Plain language, because you should not need a lawyer to find out what happens to your email address.

When you ask for a demo

The form on this site collects your name, organization, email, phone number if you give one, the kind of event you are planning, and anything you type into the message box. We use it to contact you about the product and nothing else.

We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to advertising networks.

When you buy a ticket

The organizer running the event decides what to ask you for. That is typically your name and email, plus any custom questions they added, such as meal choice or guest names. That information belongs to the organizer, and they can export or delete it.

We store it so we can send your ticket, let staff check you in at the door, and give the organizer their attendee list.

Card details

Card numbers are entered directly into a payment form hosted by our payment gateway and are never stored on our servers. We keep the last four digits and the card brand so an order is recognizable on a receipt or a refund.

Who can see what

Each organizer sees only their own organization's events, orders, and attendees. Staff given a check-in role can see the attendee list for scanning, and cannot see revenue.

Payment credentials belonging to an organizer are stored encrypted and are never shown again after they are saved.

Asking us to remove something

Email support@cloud9payments.com and tell us what you want removed. If you bought a ticket, contact the organizer first, since the attendee record is theirs. We will help them action it.

Questions about any of this go to support@cloud9payments.com.
